Malignant joint injuries after sports injuries can be successfully treated with track therapy

Already in 2004, scientists from the University of Ankara were able to prove that in the case of basketball players, who are often acci- dent with injuries to the temporomandibular joint, they could be completely eliminated with the aid of rail therapy. 18 athletes had pain, mouth opening restrictions, TMJ and chewing problems. All of these symptoms could be completely eliminated by the treatment with bite bars at 17 of the athletes.
